Midcentury Modern Architecture
The Northeast Corridor of Miami is the stretch of land from the banks of Biscayne Bay to US1 that runs just north of Edgewater and includes the waterfront communities of Bay Point, Morningside, Belle Meade, San Souci and Keystone Point. Along US1 there has been a great resurgence and reclaiming of Miami's historic "MiMo" or Midcentury Modern hotels and other buildings. The area is alive with new businesses adding life and character to this desirable area.
The Latest in the Northeast Corridor
The beautiful MiMo District on the shores of Biscayne Bay welcomes Venezuelan fashion designer Angel Sanchez to the area. The new Sanchez + Coleman Studio offers the latest upscale showroom featuring evening gowns and bridal collections, and also a gallery of art, furniture and design objects from interior designer Christopher Coleman. This is a beautiful blend of haute couture at its finest.
